A Third-Generation Houston Law Firm Representing Injured People Since 1964

At Badders Law Firm P.C. we focus on providing the best representation for our clients to ensure we help them obtain the justice and relief they deserve after suffering serious injuries. We take the time to investigate and understand their physical needs as well as their financial ones.

What We Are About: Your Recovery

With our firm, you get a strong support team with a single point of contact for everything related to your case. We are confident that you will benefit from our practical, compassionate approach to personal injury law that has proven effective for more than 55 years. You will come to appreciate our team of attorneys that refuses to accept less than you deserve for the injuries you suffer in a car or truck accident.

When you enlist our help, you will work with a dedicated team of seasoned professionals that is ready to help you. You will have the support of a firm with demonstrated results over time and a reputation for doing whatever is necessary to fight to the finish for their clients.

Your attorney and our team will be your trustworthy advocates in an unfamiliar, cumbersome system where everyone knows what’s going on except you. We will work to ensure you are fairly treated and well represented. While we are often able to do this by reaching settlement agreements, our firm has over 30 years of trial experience and are not afraid to go to take the fight to the court room when necessary.

What We Are Not About: A Fruitless Chase

At Badders Law Firm, P.C. we are all about physical and financial recovery. We are not about taking a quick settlement at the expense of our client’s health. We understand that diagnosing and treating an injury may take time and we will not try to make a small and quick settlement at the expense of our client’s well-being.

We are not about false promises of huge payouts. Our team works hard to make our clients receive a fair and just settlement. We are confident in our abilities and will ensure that we will never make a dollar unless we achieve a successful outcome in your case.

Who We Are As A Family And Team Of Lawyers

Badders family

Our founder, Bill Badders, graduated from law school at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, in 1950. Mr. Badders moved to Nacogdoches as an adjuster for an insurance company and married Jeanelle Linthicom, the daughter of Claude and Nellie Linthicom, in 1956. After working for another law firm in town, Bill opened his own firm in 1964. We are proud to continue his legacy in his memory.

His son, Jeff B. Badders, grew up in Nacogdoches and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1978. Mr. Badders graduated from Baylor School of Law in 1981 and returned to Nacogdoches to begin representing the injured people of East Texas and surrounding areas. Jeff married Jackie Gibson in 1985, and they have eight children, including Heath.

J. Heath Badders, also a native of Nacogdoches and the firstborn son of Jeff and Jackie Badders, graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor’s degree in forestry in 2012. As the firstborn of eight children, Heath carried on the family tradition and graduated from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2016. While in law school, Heath met and fell in love with a fellow law student, Mari Weaver. They were married in May 2016 and together began working alongside Heath’s dad to fight for the injured people of East Texas.

Mari Badders was born in Oklahoma and moved, with her family, to Tokyo, Japan, when she was 13. After graduating from an international high school in Tokyo, Mari returned to the United States to attend Wake Forest University, where she received a bachelors degree in political science and Japanese studies, while also serving in the North Carolina National Guard. Upon graduation, Mari was commissioned as an officer serving in the Army Reserves and began law school at South Texas College of Law Houston. She graduated in December 2015 and married Heath the following May. In addition to being a member of Badders Law Firm P.C., Mari is also a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves and recently served as Assistant Professor of Military Science at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Together with attorney Matt Hancock, today, Jeff, Heath and Mari Badders continue to serve our communities through our dedicated personal injury practice.
